How can I participate in the FInES Cluster meetings?
Typically, 3 or 4 cluster meetings are organized every year by the European Commission and the cluster projects in Brussels. They are timely announced in the cluster website and the newsletter, as well as in social media. Registration is free and open to everyone interested in the enterprise perspective of Future Internet. |
What is the EISB?
EISB stands for Enterprise Interoperability Science Base which is a long-sought challenge for the FInES Cluster that was originally documented back in 2006 in the 4th version of the EI Research Roadmap. In 2008 the Cluster formed a small task force to work on the EISB while during 2009, the European Commission sponsored an “Enterprise Interoperability Science Base Meeting” to which members of the Future Internet Enterprise Systems (FInES) Cluster as well as international scientific experts were invited. The possible purpose and structure of the EISB were then discussed and led to the EC call for a Coordinating and Support Action under Framework Programme 7 in October 2009. The activities for promoting the EISB are now undertaken by the ENSEMBLE project with the support of the European Commission and the FInES Cluster projects. |
