Technology Watch and FET Task Force

Description and Scope: The FInES cluster recognizes the importance of technology innovation for the future of enterprises. Since a lot of this innovation happens outside the cluster boundaries there is a need to monitor the ever-changing technology scene, identify the relevant topics and bring them for active discussions among the cluster stakeholders.

The Technology Watch and FET task force was created during the summer of 2010 in order to perform this task. In particular we aim to:
  • Schedule invited talks at cluster events
  • Share relevant materials on the FInES website
  • Create visibility for technologies used by various cluster projects
We believe that our activities will boost information exchange among the cluster projects and help shape the technology research as the foundation of future enterprise systems

Future Internet Enterprise Systems (FInES) play an important role in the quest of European enterprises (typically SME's) to become more competitive and to enlarge their markets while transforming towards new business models and developing innovative products and services.
