Description and Scope:

After a SWOT analysis, the challenges with regard to research exploitation are recognized as:

  • Setting up of clearly stated goals & standards (quantifiable measures)
  • Demonstrating to investors viability of FP&CIP projects commercialisation
  • Bridging sectorial perspectives gaps via continuous communication
  • Promoting entrepreneurship mind-sets
  • Bridging gaps between Project Management & Business Management
  • Business networks mobilization
In this context, the FInES Research Exploitation and Impact Creation Task Force aims at working along the following lines: 
  • Compendium of experts within Fines cluster & beyond
  • Compendium of European ‘champions’ – business, academia, research domains
  • Development of themes to explore (SWOT analysis points)
  • Linking of themes to FInES/Commission reports s/a Roadmap/Innovation Union/Digital Agenda
  • Research papers
  • Action plan/Roadmap
  • Training Activities
  • Invites to keynote speakers from diverse but complementary sectors; from business/economic domains
