Project Title:	ICT-VentureGate - Innovative Solutions For Enabling Efficient Interactions Between SMEs In ICT Projects And Innovation Investors
Funding Scheme:	CSA
Description:	ICT-VentureGate is an FP7 project that aims to facilitate financing of attractive ICT SMEs, which have participated in the Sixth and/or Seventh Framework Programs and are seeking sources of venture capital to commercialise the results of their R&D activities.
Objectives:	Profile the financing needs of ICT SMEs that have participated in FP6 and FP7. Learn how investors and private equity firms consider such SMEs. Bridge the gap between SMEs graduating from the Framework Programme and the relevant Investors by: Enabling the SMEs with the capabilities to find and attract investors, and to become investment ready. Providing guides and tools to help SMEs succeed in the financial marketplace. Establishing a single Information Gateway for Investors. Avail such attractive SMEs to venture capital funding through various channels and information gateways. Create, operate, and maintain a permanent platform for brokerage, networking, and for cooperation between SMEs and venture capital investors.
