Following the successful workshop held in Stanford last year, the FInES Cluster, along with the NEFFICS project (FP7), Stanford University, Princeton University and Aalborg University, is organising a second event in Princeton, USA, 7th-8th June 2012. Discussing new business models, new business forms and values, new models for business innovation, the workshop will bring together representatives of the European and US industry, academia and policymakers from three sectors: manufacturing, digital games and e-health.

The FInES Cluster Book is expected to be published this Summer. This will be an important milestone for the FInES Cluster, summing up the main achievements and the vision that the Cluster has consolidated in the last years.

The Future Internet Assembly Working Group on Research Roadmapping is organising a workshop to review and extend the current FIA Research Roadmap as a core input to the next EU Framework Programme ("Horizon 2020"). The workshop will be an opportunity to present new major research themes that addressing the Future Internet and to comment on those described in the current roadmap document.

The FInES Research Roadmap 2025 (FRR) has reached a good level of maturity with the version v2.0, achieved after an extensive consultation within the FInES Cluster. Version 2.0 has been released at the Cluster meeting held on 14th-15th March, 2012. Its accompanying Annexes have been also published in April 2012.
